We will be fine. I think we just need to find our groove again like we did earlier in the year. I just to God that Wagner has just had 2 bad outings, and that it is not his age showing.

Certainly a possibility, in the stretch they have been on I think we have seen their best. I don't think we have seen the Phillies best. Not worried about the Mets.
I like the team makeup though, they play hard and execute pretty well. Need a bat, but please don't give up too much.

Where are they going to get their pitching? right now they are down 2 pitchers and I think old man moyer is going to retire. so even if they pick up one good pitcher they are still short one. Do you really think joe blanton is going to help them make up 5 games. the only thing keeping them afloat right now is Doc holiday. Let the rest of the Nl start pitching around Howard and take their chances with the rest of that patched up line up and you'll see them fall

Find our groove again? We lost two one run games that we would have won if we had a decent manager. It's not like we have lost 8 in a row again. We still have a 5 game lead. Our pitching is not going anywhere. I think we're golden.

Phillies are only 3 games out in the standings right now. I could see the Braves choking...don't know if they will but, I could see that happening.

That was our second series loss since May 10. We lost two games in extra innings. People were panicking over getting swept by the White Sox, but we came back and won like 8 more series and split one.
We'll rebound against the Nats.

Fredi seems to be the heir apparent, and I have no problem with that. I think he would be a perfect fit.

This team is too deep on the bench and way too strong on the pitching staff across the board - starters, relievers, and closer.
No homer opinion here Humper - I've been as down on the bravos the last 4 years as anybody. But this team has all the pieces to sustain the success from the first half of the season. My only concern now is as it was every year except 1 that we won the div title for 14 straight years - will Cox totally drop the ball in the NLDS or NLCS. I think we make the NLCS this year - but we def make the playoffs.
