Solid pick up by the Phillies. Braves can never hit that guy. But - end to end, braves still have a much deeper staff from starting 5, to relief pitchers, to the closer. Phillies def. just narrowed the gap a good bit though, no question. NL east is going to be very interesting.

Problem is that the Braves don't have enough offense to support the pretty good pitching they have. Of...and Lowe sucks donkey dicks. KK isn't far behind either.

I think this is a huge problem for Los Bravos. KK sucks, Lowe is slumping, and Hanson hasn't lived up to the hype.
Phillies trade for Oswalt and the Braves trade for Gonzales.

True that, and if we both get into the playoffs, you would have to give the nod to their first 3 vs ours. Thier bats are better, but our bullpen is better.
Should be fun. I am just enjoying watch'em play when I get a chance. Good team, bunch of scrappers, no attitudes. I like it.

their 1-3 might be better but their 4 and 5 starters blow. and when it comes to a pitching staff as a whole starters and bullpen I would say the braves are a lot better.

and since we are talking about the phillthies why don't you look at that complete game stat. 8 of 11 of those games came from one guy Roy Halladay. This guy is the only reason this team is still hanging though. He is on track for 255 inning this year, but with that said he has never pitched in a playoff race so it'll be interesting to see if he can keep going 9 and helping that bull pen
